Pokemon platinum

This is a fun pokemon game I am creating. It was started on December 9th 2007.

News:
-1-29-08
Over a month since last update. I have not done anything really because of my limited time on the computer on weekdays, plus having the game water bottlez to work on. I am kind of working on this a little a day...I am trying to make the first area as perfect as I can...plus use all the starter pokemon sprites and create the bag option.

Current progress:
1.5% completed
First area completed except for NPC's
Route 1 completed
Problems:


Help me:
**Credit given to all who help, will be put in credits.
-Sprites must be front AND back positions.
-If you are already getting something, we can talk this out and you will get something different,
-Making me one starter(all evolutions): gym trainer
-Making me two starters(all evoltions): gym leader
-Making me three starters (all evolutions): Elite four member
-Making me one legendary (I need three): gym trainer
-making other pokemon
+++1 pokemon: trainer
+++4 pokemon: gym trainer
+++10 pokemon: gym leader
+++20 pokemon: elite four member


Jobs:
All jobs will be rewarded by how much work is done by you.
-Coder: We need coders in this game to help out, in need of one currently.
-Spriter: We need a person who is very good at making front and back pokemon, all direction trainers, buildings, and other things. Everything must have great detail. We are currently in need of one.
-Tester: not needed quite yet, will be needed in about a month though. A tester will go through the entire game and check to see if there are any glitches, you will have to try different things in the same spots over and over again.

Credits:
These people will be going in the credits:
-Dandaman (Danny): will be made elite four leader
-Nijg (Caleb): will be made gym trainer
-Nadroj (Jordan): will be made the secret character

Current sprites:
Sprites with ** next to them need modifying
**Grass starters-Need front and back pose, need modifying all of them.

Pokemon Ideas:
- Grass starter: a leaf, then its 2nd evolution a plant/flower, then 3rd a tree
-Fire starter: First a snake, snd a bigger snake with a poisioned tail, and third a bigger snake with the spike on each side of it and 3 spiked tails.
-Water starter: First, a tiny water bird, with very little wings, second a bigger bird with wings spread out, and third a giant cooler looking water bird.

If you have anymore ideas tell me!

Maybe the starters should have two types, like Fire and Fighting, Water and Dark, and Grass and Psychic. That would be cool.

You should also have a secret legendary, like one you can only get with a cheat or something?

The combo types is a good idea. I will add that soon.

I dont like the secret legendary. Not a good idea. Well its not the secret part it is the cheat part. I will make all legendaries all possible without codes.

Good idea. I'm going to move this post to Suggestion Box since there is no demo yet.

SOrry I must quit this game. I am not yet experienced enough. I will get help from other people soemtime and we can all work on it together. But I do not want to start this game until I reach 4 stars in the official gml test, I currently have 2.

Everyone I have not stopped this game!!! I have found a coder to help me!!!

I am still working on pokehunt though, this person also needs to learn more codes but he learns fast!! This project will start back up again in a few weeks officially, but you may see very little updates when him or I get bored and want to do something on it. Pokehunt will interfere with the game for about a month until completion, it wont be too big of a game though. I will just make a shop, pokemon to kill, and about 6 weapons, a tank, and possibly a giant robot.

Also to SRC, dont worry next version of pokehunt I will make a lot more!

Please still give suggestions to this game! we need them!

Also please continue to post sprites!

I have added jobs everyone! I have also added the grass starters, they all need modifying with a back and front pose sprite. You will be made into a gym trainer for doing this for me. If you are already getting something, we will talk and talk out something you will get.

lol, yeah Chris. I love the enthusiam and all, but, we will start getting more members soon and you will have to stop double/triple posting. It's setting a bad example for new members. lol I sound SO much like my dad.

Oh, hey! Glad you joined, we needed more members. Plus, if Chris reccomends you as an extremely helpful coder, we might consider making you an Elite Member (special member).

He may not be elite, but an OK coder. He is learning more a lot though, and he is getting better.

Also new news.
I have been working on the game a little today, and I am almost done with getting all the insides of the houses done, I am about 70% done with my first area.
First area includes, three houses, grass (wild pkmn attack), water, bridge.

Hey, I saw your avatar (kinda hard to miss) and I make a signature to match it with a Pokemon called Swab, which I just made a couple minutes ago. Well, there you go.
